My name is Linus. I'm 14 years old.I want this POE place because I like baking. At home I bake together with my family. I really enjoy tasting my creations afterwards. Especially the sweeties. This POE place seems exciting because you have to do things all the time. And you have to do different things, I mean variation. Baking different things is a different experience every time.That makes it more fun.

I'm easy to agree with and and are possitive person. I would really like to know new people and look forward to work together with others. I'm always active and full of ideas.

My interests are orienteering, scouting and computers. I like programming, training, and picture editing. Being together with my friends are important to me.

POE day 8-9 another poe

This will be a pretty short text because I’m tired after the ski training and it’s late. Also I need to wake up early next morning again. This will be my last day. It’s both awesome and sad. I mean, who wouldn’t be happy when you’ve worked hard all day and then it’s holiday. But I’ve also learned to know the employees and deal with them. I actually like them. Today I’m going to use as many as possible of the words I were to use. Let’s start then, today a guy came to the bakery and wanted a POE place. He was about 25 years old and had probably studied in a vocational training school. He had been at another bakery but left after a month. They think he couldn’t handle the stress and thought this place would be more softer. But that’s why the employer didn’t want him here. I wonder how he planned about his career when he dropped of. Baking is maybe not the right profession for him. He may be unemployed for a long time if he can’t handle stress. I hope he doesn’t expect short shifts. Well that’s it, It’s late and I’m tired. Sorry guys but I need my beatysleep now J

POE day 6-7 Week 2 begins

These days I’ve been doing other things than just baking. I’ve cleaned the highest shelves and scratched all the plates in the whole bakery together with Oskar. On Tuesday (today) and Wednesday there’s only me, Oskar and Muhibija. Therese has her weekend and are going to hang out with her friends. Suddenly Tuesdays became Muhibijas friendlyday. He gave us  a lot of things to taste today and our day ended at 13.00!!! That was actually kind. I’m starting to like him a bit now, if he’s not just planning to feed us till we get fat and then eat us like the witch in Hans and Gretel. Well, I think I will know the answere in the end of this week. Some of the things we’ve tasted today is a newly baked Ciabata and a Raspberrycave. J I’ve also learned a interesting secret I want to share with you guys! We do not use plastic gloves until 8 o’clock when the shop opens. And we do not use them unless we’re out in the shop where the customers can see us. Cause they don't know we do wash our hands. I’ve learned some secrets and how to think as a baker that could give me benefits in my life as a non-baker. I’ve also brought you some new Pictures from today. Enjoy :)

POE day 3-5 Tired of semles

Just for you:

When it’s semle time they taste like lime

My brain is upside down and my nose looks like a clown

Cause I’m tired all day and I can’t think, no way

And look at me now, my face looks like a cow

Now I feel stressed, but in the weekend I get rest

Baking stuff isn’t hard, if you know you’ll taste them afterward

And good they taste, nothing you waste

Well at least it is fun, when you’re baking a bun

You’ll survive and will still be alive

 

Hajhaj guys!

Today I’ve got really surprised! I’ve been remarking the semles! Just changed the boxes and remarked them. It’s the same thing as changing the best before date! I asked the employees why but I didn’t get a real answer. They both told me to ask the other guy. It wasn’t really that smart of them to do that under POE weeks. They don’t know that I’m writing this. I didn’t know how to handle that so I just did as I was told. That really shocked me! Besides that I did my first princess cake today. My sister has her birthday on Monday. I baked my own order. J That was fun! This time hasn,t been that busy even though the all hearts day was a day of preparing the freezed vanilla hearts. The biggest reason to that was because Muhibija was away. He had his weekend in the middle of the week. A good thing is that I’ve learned how to order food at Subway! I were really new and uncomfortable when doing that before this week.  And even better news! I’ve brought you some pictures. J Hope you enjoy them

POE day 1-2

Hello guys!


Today I’ve been working really hard because of the fattyday. EVERYONE wants to eat semles :) I don't know the name of it so from now i will call them semles. The task of the day was to bake about nine hundreds of them! I'm working in the bakery inside the Coop grocery store in Gröndal. We are four people working in a team. The boss of the bakery: Muhibija, the employee Therese and another boy from our school called Oskar. I and Oskar have already become kind of friends. We meet up at the station every morning and go together by train to Årstaberg where we change to the streetcar (spårvagn) and then all the way to Coop. We stop just outside the shop so walking long distances isn't necessary. The boss, Muhibija, is big and asks us questions all the time. He wants to know everything about us! And the worst thing is that he keep telling me again and again that orienteering isn't a real sport! He says that you just take a walk in the forest for a while. But I think that's what he did when he was young and had to orientate. Except that, everything's fine, but you get a bit tired when you have to wake up 5,45 every morning. My working clothes looks funny, we've got a plaid apron and a white cap. Besides that we are to wear white or light colored clothes. The shop is always nice and clean, but behind the scenes it looks awful!. In the lunchroom the floors and walls are spotted by coffee and other things that I can’t identify. To get the Place more friendly to work at for the employee they have put a massage chair in the changing room. I wouldn’t say the working climate is what I’ve expected. I’ve actually tried to clean the walls but the dirt already dried in. Well it’s getting late or at least it's late for me. Bye everybody, have a good fatday evening :)

Mitt Photoshop projekt

Jag började med att göra en spontan skulptur i papper. Den utgick mest från lugna och neutrala färger som sand, beige, brun, svart och vitt. Men eftersom jag ville att den skulle spegla mina personligheter så lade jag till lite starka färger som grönt och rött. Efter att jag hade fotat den med en blå bakgrund tog jag även ett foto på skolgården. Den blå bakgrunden gjorde det enklare att klippa ut skulpturen och lägga den i ett eget lager. Som bakgrund lade jag in miljöbilden på skolgården. Det tog nog ca 10 min. Jag är hyfsat van vid program för bildredigering. Resten av lektionen gick jag runt och hjälpte dom andra. Andra lektionen gjorde jag den lite mörkare utom där solljuset borde falla på statyn. Där gjorde jag den lite ljusare. Mellan dom olika delarna blev det då starka kontraster som jag snabbt suddade ut. Det som blev dåligt är att skulpturen har en väldigt tunn blå kant runt. Jag vet inte heller om den ljusa delen av skulpturen var på fel ställe, jag misstänker att jag skulle lagt den lite högre upp. I det stora hela är jag nöjd och tycker att den blev bra. /Linus :b
